There’s a good chance you’ve read about Spoon Sports’ TYPE ONE before on
Jalopnik
or other automotive websites, so I’ll keep this brief. The shop was very easy to find (<20 min walk from Ogikubo Station), filled with Gran Turismo nostalgia-evoking eye candy, the staff was friendly, and they’re cool with visitors wandering around and taking pictures (provided you stay out of their way). I happened to arrive right when they were unloading their signature NSX and shuffling it up into the 2nd floor storage “shelf”, which made for some excellent photo opportunities, so I figured I’d share. I Would definitely recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in the Tokyo area.
