Taken from the Facebook page of the Floyd County Museum in NE Iowa. Charles City, the seat of Floyd County, was the home of the Hart-Parr (later Oliver and finally White Farms) tractor factory until it closed in 1993 and the birthplace of the gasoline-powered tractor .

I think it was meant to work in an apple orchard, so that may be the reason.

Love Olivers but learned to drive with a clutch on a Ford 8N. Might be one of my all time favorite machines.

There’s one held near my in laws and if the one there is similar it’s well worth the time. The swap meet is worth it on its own.
If they do a “slowest tractor” race try and be there for that.
