My problem with tiny houses is they’re largely poorly designed and kitschy. I like the idea, just not the typical execution.

I’ll err on the side of ignorance but I’ve not seen many pulling high dollar at Barret Jackson or Mecum for “generic ford convertible” - and a weird year too.. considering most discussion starts with pre-war or post-war.. not such most “mid war”

I don’t require much living space. I’d like a garage though. That’d have to be the first floor of a non-moving tiny house, or an additional building on land next to the tiny house.

This would be considered pre war, I presume - I think auto production stopped early in ‘42, which makes it rare, but not necessarily that desirable.

I think 42s bring a bit of a premium because of their rarity since production was shut down for the war.

Make sense for rarity, but I’ll honest I dont think it’s very much attractive. I can think of gobs more pre war builds that were substantially more eye appealing.

The ‘42 model year and convertible angle both make it more rare, though obviously rarity =/= value. There is something of a market for these, but this one’s a bit high - the more obvious choice is to get a ‘46 in a dark color and pretend to be Biff Tannen.

That’s wild! I’ve never seen one of those. Auto production stopped in February 1942- so these are pretty rare.
What’s odd is that for the most part, 1946 models were mostly the same as the 1942 models. But DeSoto didn’t include those hidden headlamps in the ‘46's.
