Well, winter s really early this year, we are going to get our first snowstorm of the season. We are going to get between 15-25 cm (6-8 inches).
I’m ready, installed my plow last weekend. This year i’m going with a 10000 pound tow strap on my winch. Bought a 25 foot tow strap that I cut in half. Welded a old fairlead roller to bracket that goes in my front hitch to have a decent angle to lift my plow, and since my winch has an aluminum fairlead without rollers, the strap doesn’t rub on it now.
Bring it on, do your worst Mother Nature. I’m ready for you.

No you aren’t, the first snow brings out the crazies on the roads.
I have a feeling I’m gonna see a few snowmobiles fly by tomorrow night.

Thankfully though it terrifies them and after that they cower at home until spring.
The first nice day of spring is horrible to drive on.
