I know how you feel, I used to knock myself out on the toilet to end them, but giving up any medication for a year of hell seemed to stop them for good.
My dad still suffers badly from them, he’s on imigraine (Sumatriptan) they do work, but don’t rely on them it’s very easy to get addicted (he is and I was)

ALSO... for me at least, i found processed cheese can trigger migraines. Fresh cheese is fine but stuff like mac and cheese, frozen cheese, etc. can cause them

Ugh the worst! I go with Excedrin then sit in the shower with the lights off until it subsides...then the Excedrin ruins my stomach.

Oh, not saying you shouldn’t laugh. Just that migraines are on my short list of things I don’t joke about. I’ve watched my sister struggle with them for too long. She usually tries to sleep them off when she can. But sometimes a mom doesn’t get that luxury.

My dad used to take Excedrin for headaches and it turned out that his headaches were caffeine joneses. But for a migraine, have you tried aspirin and caffeine?

I usually do two excedrin migraines and try and sleep it off. The one time I was able to get coffee with a lot of espresso, it was as if I was drinking a healing potion.

You can buy straight caffeine pills readily, either 100mg or 200mg strength. I use caffeine to regulate depression.

For me, it’s a stimulant that can effectively regulate my mood, along with the low dose antidepressant that I am prescribed.
