We’ve got a dry cleaning service at work, and when I grabbed my bag today it started to play an MIDI version of “Happy Birthday”. I got some great looks from people as I walked back to my office as it played super loud 3 full times!

It turns out that Miles tried to sneak in one of his toys...However it does not appear to have been cleaned. I’m sure he’ll be disappointed but he’s not the type to call and complain.

Your doggo does not murder all toys?

Nope, which is odd for a boxer. When he was a puppy, if he started to chew apart a toy we threw it out. He even knows which toys are designated for tug of war although those toys obviously take a beating after a while.

Ya I take them away from mine too. She plays tug of war with anything though. I stopped buying stuffed toys because I got sick of cleaning them up 10 minutes after giving them to her. I take her to the park a lot to play with dogs, but some people bring toys and like want to take them home or only want their dog to play with it which is weird to me. She will totally steal other dogs toys and just rip them to shreds. Sometimes I feel bad about it, but I give them a heads up. And I take her there to play with dogs not toys.

Yea anything besides a ball or a Frisbee at the dog park is a bad idea, and you can’t expect other dogs not to want to play. I usually end up throwing our Frisbee to a crowd of dogs when we go to the park, and I never take anything that I don’t want to lose. Gotta let dogs be dogs

Some people really don’t get that last sentence. My dog was rolling around with another dog once and a guy came up and broke them up. I was like its cool man they’re just playing, he said “my mom doesn’t want her to get dirty”. I couldn’t come up with anything to say that wouldn’t make me sound like a massive asshole so I just walked away.

He was probably getting you back for buying it. My dog tears out the noise makers within minutes of being given them.

Hah, the dog park is a terrible place to be if that is the case, but yea there are some “unique” personalities at dog parks. There is a creek at the park near me, and people are always like “nooooooo don’t go in the creek!” running after their dogs... What do you expect them to do?

He has a weird relationship with this toy, it’s one of his favs but as soon as it plays the song he backs away from it like “what the fuck what does it do that!?” and won’t continue playing until it stops. The squeaky toys, he chews until the squeaker dies.

Haha ya mine likes to play in the water. There’s quite a few puddles in spring/fall. People always tell me they’re glad they don’t have to take her home. She oddly hates baths for how much she likes playing in water.

Same, hates baths but loves being dried with a towel. When he comes in and it’s raining he waits by the pile of towels until someone dries him off.

My doggo is also named Miles, but he does not play with toys. Does cause a lot of dry cleaning though...
