I did some research (2 min) but it seems pretty simple, on one hand you have a sensible Doctor that is also a war veteran and on the other hand a Republican lobbyist that was the Counselor to the President in the Bush administration that apparently has quite a track record.

Yeah, I’m not voting for Gillespie regardless. Northam is definitely the lesser of two evils, but both of them have mainly had attack ads talking about how bad the other guy is instead of focusing on what they’d actually do in office. I had to dig a bit to find their stances on marijuana reform, which is...I won’t say it’s important to me, but it is relevant to my interests. Northam is in favor of decriminalization, which is a step in the right direction but not far enough. I think it should be legalized, and could be a great revenue source, as other states that have done so have seen.
