I heard it drive away and certainly wasn’t a v8. I guess it could have been a 5.0 stroker so that’s cool.

It’s been done. Just throwing in a crank from the 4.2L brings it to 4.5L. There’s a kit out there (from 505 performance maybe?) for 5.0L, but it requires a recentreing bore and maybe even sleeves... It leaves the cylinder walls VERY thin. But they still managed something like 600hp out of it, boosted.

4.6L and 4.7L are the normal strokers. I have never heard or seen of a 5.0 stroker.
