13 years of age and a cold Abilene morning and this thing snapped when I lifted the hood. It would probably make sense to replace the entire hose, but, once it gets down into the engine bay, the hose is still soft and pliable. This part of it has been cooking over top of the engine for all these years and has become hard and brittle. Replacing the entire hose would suck, since it snakes down into the bowels of the van, and I’d probably have to access it from the front wheel well behind the shroud. Would it be possible to buy a new length of hose and splice it in? This one runs under the hood insulation and attaches to a Y splitter. I wouldn’t even have to attach it to the nozzle.

Yeah you can just chop it off where it is soft again and splice in some new hose. Most auto places have stuff called windshield washer hose.
