FedEx has my hat (pictured here) in a package in the local delivery office. It got there yesterday, but since three business days from shipping isn’t until Tuesday, package sits. At least my UPS local office and driver deliver those types of packages.
Revenge against the terrible HVAC system in our HVAC company should commence Wednesday.

I will be the only person who is sitting under an indoor cassette unit in our office with a toque on. Because I don’t get to ask them to turn it from A/C to Heat, even when the outside temperature is in the 40s or 50s. To make matters worse, my desk is directly under the output, so it blows on me all day.
(I’ve been told that the system stays basically set to A/C all year...)
EDIT: Also, yes, I am serious. Something about they hold packages intentionally because why should they deliver it quicker than what you actually paid for.

FedEx and UPS has the stupidest shipping protocols.
Smartpost is pure evil. If I buy anything in the southwest, it goes to Dallas, then new Orleans, then somewhere in Tennessee and back to New Orleans then goes to the post office then me.
If UPS gets a package early before the date they say it arrives, it sits in the warehouse until that day. I had a fuel pump sit for 3 days while it waited a few miles from me. I guess I could of went and asked them for it. Then its always delivered at night.

I’ve had the exact same experience with UPS Ground. Delivery date was assigned when the package was shipped, but the package arrived at my local UPS warehouse a couple days before that date and then sat there. Even though it was already there, UPS doesn’t allow you to pick up a package before a delivery attempt is made.

I have issues with the booing. Some of the things are incredibly classless.

To be fair Vegas is doing better than most teams... Also we’re still recovering from losing a couple key players. I’ve seen the team get better and this trade should help even more. We were not that great during the regular season last year but I didn’t see the Leafs in the SCF.

MTL was stupid to swap him for Weber. Weber is a superstar in my books, but he’s getting past his prime and is locked in FOREVER, whereas PK should just be peaking now or in the next couple years. But personality-wise he’s a better fit for Nashville and Weber for MTL in my opinion.
In any case I’m glad he’s on a team where I can cheer for him now
