Christian von Koenigsegg has innovated many things that are used in the automotive and racing world. He got rid of camshafts in a car! That alone is much more than Ferrari or the likes

lol camless tech has been around at least before 2005 when I first heard about if being tested with SAAB and BMW including variable displacement. Not to mention the hundreds automotive research centers around the US alone that do those sort of studies. I remember thinking about the endless ratios of valve timing if it were implemented in that year’s V10 M5.
Modifying road cars does nothing for the racing world, it’s vise versa. Racing matters because any loser in a new Mustang, Corvette or whatever can put $200,000 into it and reach those performance stats as well. Racing is pedigree. REAL motor sport not just dumb speed runs. A Le Mans GTE-Pro car with half the power would absolutely destroy this Agera RS on an actual racing circuit let along in a 6, 12 or 24 hour endurance situation. Don’t let video games fool you.
