Topping it up I heard a hissing sound, then saw it. I probably picked it up with all the locals road work happening.
A nice large screw.

Next time grab a plastic bottle and fill it with water and a tiny bit of dish soap. If you squirt it all over the tyre you’ll soon find the leak(s).

I’ve been nursing a screw in a front right tire for some time. Slow leak is almost always a nail, unless it was debris in the bead.
Speaking of, I’ll be plugging after lunch. It’s nice out but I’ve been watching racing all day.

I have had screws half-way into a tire; running them the rest of the way in usually stops or greatly slows any leakage. Taking it out ensures a massive leak.

I need an alignment so I have it plugged up at the same time.

Good luck finding an opening at a tire shop, they have been slammed the last few weeks with the early snow.

There is local shop that is good about plugging tires quickly. A friend had work van loaded up (running late to a job site), found a screw in a tire. The shop was slammed, but brought it in to plug up right away.
