Note the rest of the world spec Corolla sedan and the Pug 306.

The CLA wagon is usually bought by rental car companies here.

The CLA only looks good in the wagon form to me.

I did notice the Corolla as being a little weird. See them everywhere in the US but not many wide bodies in Europe... I think maybe they only offered it in Spain for some reason and kept the Auris elsewhere? First car I saw leaving the airport was a Brera Spider with the roof down but I didn’t get a photo. I think those are pretty rare.

Oh, I didn’t know they sold the Corolla in Spain. There are very few markets West of the old Iron Curtain where it’s sold.

Three box cars like the Corolla are a very small niche in Europe unless they’re upmarket. So loads of Golfs and almost no Jettas.

Looks like a mini R-Class with that roofline. Not loving the current designs much.

Like Ce He Sin wrote, compact sedans are a niche in Europe with the exeption of Italy, Spain and maybe Portugal as well as many Eastern Bloc countries. The Corolla sedan is still offered as a sedan in Germany at least, the Civic sedan too. Both sell in small numbers.

The Corolla is the odd one out. I see the rest every day. Including the 90s Peugeot and 90s VW Transporter and certainly the turn of the century mk4 Golf. The CLA wagon is easily the second most uncommon here. But a Corolla sedan? Very rare.
