Jesus fuck is it loud and I mildly regret not spending more for the quieter q300.

I’ve got a Berks HFC on my S2000. I love it. My stock unit took a dump and I wasn’t interested in the $600 oem replacement.

Sorry you’re not happy with the rest of the system.

I will randomly chime in that the Spoon N1 dual exhaust is one of my favorites on the S2k. Although it’s probably really expensive.

Good man for going with the high flow cat. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried to convince people to not go catless, only to be completely ignored.

Hey, I need your help. I saw your video on YouTube about cleaning the drains on the S2000. For the life of me I still can’t find the drains.

Can you lend any assistance or pictures?

The N1 exhaust is known as a loud and droney exhaust in the 86/brz community so not surprised you’ve got the same loud issues

Trade the N1, let’s be honest that’s name brand fart can. For a twin loop. Even an EBay knock off twin loop is better than a cannon.

My old GSR had a DC radcing header, 3 inch exhaust, and an eBay twin loop. It sounded great and was never too loud or droning.

I learned this the hard way too. Seems like the concensus for Invidia systems is the N1 is loud and drones while the q300 is quieter and not as droney.

Ah yes, the drains of doom! I’ll add the disclaimer that mine are currently clogged again. It’s one of the biggest pains in the butt with this car. Pictures are really hard to get because of the tight area and darkness. I tried a cheap USB cable-camera to see why mine aren’t draining, but the quality wasn’t good enough.

The best advice I can offer is, put the soft top half up half down, and poke around at the forward edge with a pen light. You’re looking for a small plastic bucket with a hole in the forward edge. Once you see it, that will help you guide your poking device. The angle of attack for the poker is down to the bottom of the bucket, then slide forward gently into the hole/tube.

Literally since day 1 I was debating on just finding some HFP axleback and swapping it...
