Love those things. Great visibility, handles like a small-ish car, short wheelbase, proper NA V6. A little small for me, but it’s on my shortlist. So many retirees own these, it’s super easy to find a clean used one. Best era for design in M-B’s modern history. Dat creasing!

IS would probably lose. A3 is same weight, with 30 more HP and almost 70 lbft more torque. Merc is another 500lbs on top of the IS, but it makes 420LBft of torque and 240HP.

I had no idea that engine was even offered in the GLK! Literally all I’ve ever seen are 350 and 350 4matic. Cool...
