Kinja'd!!!

A few of us got together and did the work. Best thing was years ago when they replaced the fence last time they put in galvanized posts and used these brackets, which saved us a ton of time today not having to reset posts. If you build a woodfence consider metal posts and these brackets.

I have no plans of building any fences any time soon but those brackets are awesome.

why not use colour bond, then you’ll never have to replace it again

They are moving out of this house soon, old one was shit.

They have another house already, fixing things that need done to get ready for market.

Galvanized posts make so much sense, I wonder why more people don’t do that (outside places like historic districts, where they most likely couldn’t).

My parents replaced their wood stockade fence with a white vinyl privacy fence about 7-8 years ago, the wood one had noticeable deterioration when it was that age, this one still looks brand new. Not sure what the neighbors think of looking at a blank white wall, but its probably better than a warped and weathered wood wall. Plus, keeps their stupid kids from drowning themselves, so they should be happy about that.

I did something similar with electrical conduit clamps at my last residence. Not as adjustable as the ones you listed, but cheaper if you have a lot of fencing to install
