This car i dont think was ever aligned right so im putting it through one now and will be changing out all of the fluids (coolant, oil, brake, all of the diffs) as well as all of the filters (oil, air, cabin air) over the next week or so.

not much to do with alignment.... but balancing wheels used to be one of me favourite jobbies back when i worked in a garage..... something hugely satisfying about taking a wibbly wobbly wheel and making it not wibbly wobbly with weights

people used to always complain when the inner part of their front tires were showing cords while the outside were really good on those 2nd gen IS. They’d complain their alignment was off when in reality, it was 100% normal. When new, these cars had a sticker on the windshield which was removed by the customer stating the tires will only last maybe 15K miles so it should surprise them.

premature inner tire wear = kickass handling!

I toed the fronts out a little bit to help fight that. Im not autocrossing the car, just a DD
