I would have used duct tape first personally

I have a clear sheet of plastic, and half a roll of duct tape they could have.

You’d think that would be the obvious thing to try first.

And it’s not like we’re in a coastal town with three different sailmakers who could repair that in a jiffy or anything...

They would probably try to staple it on or something.

I saw an Explorer not long ago, and the owner decided to DIY replacing the rear window. He cut a piece of plexiglass, drilled what must of been 150 holes, and rivited it in place.

I wanted to tell him he could of probably got the glass from a U-Pull-It for the same price of that sheet of plexi.

Duct tape wouldn’t last long as it’s adhesive is water based.

This is what I snobbishly say to everyone who jokes that duct tape can fix anything. Like yeah as long as it never gets wet.

It also doesn’t stick to things that are already wet.

So you think it’s worse than foam?
