!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The new version of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is a game I super like, and it helps that I love the combat system so much.

Now if they re-release this with more cars, customization (engine swaps and body kit) and new weapons...

Oh, oh, and teamfights! 5 on 5, cops and racers.

Last Time I played this was in 2007. And 10 years later, I’d love to do it again.

It’s just that the Dynamics of GT5 and GT6 have made sure I don’t enjoy any other game.

I’ll still try it.

It’s great! You can play either as Police or as Racer depending on what mission you select. Progression is linear, but awesome, and applies to both Police and Racer. Combat is wild and frenetic and brutal and shockingly good. Cars look great, handle great, allows for arrow key movement.

Oh, and the setting, Seacrest County, is a nice place to drive in. Loads of exploitable shortcuts, and design is top-notch (roads are fun to drive on in).

Oooooooooor

They could remake Underground and make it not as terrible as their last 6 games. Go hat taking over Need for Speed is on of the saddest things that has happened to me. I never liked the Burnout games. Now they just took over the Need for Speed name and slapped it on a bunch of Burnout games. Bu to be fair the NFS games had been going down hill since the original Most Wanted.

Also could the bring back manual transmissions please?

Great casual racer. I hate the crash replays that roll with time still running. When it resumes it has placed me in bad spots.

Oh. My. God. This game was sooooooo good! The graphics were great, the driving was fun, the setting and the cars were top notch, and the game engine was fast and responsive.

It was also Criterion’s last project before EA decided to take Criterion to the back of the shed, put two bullets in the back of its head, and then push the body into a shallow grave and cover it with copies of Need For Speed: The Run.

As a Burnout fan, these new NFS games didn’t even work as a Burnout game, they were just a bit rubbish all-round.

Now I’m hoping they finally return to the Underground/MW 2005/Carbon formula instead of turning it into a cash grab like Payback and the 2015 reboot.

And yeah, manuals please.
