The anxiety of running past empty is crazy. My W451's fuel tank only measures 8.7 gallons of its 10 gallon tank. So once it hits “0.0 Gal” you’re running completely by estimation. I ran 40+ miles past 0.0 gallons as I left my monies at home and had no way of obtaining petrol. I pumped in 9.93 gallons on that day. lol

The most I went was 41L (50L tank). I avg 35L per fill up.

Those are rookie numbers. Wait until you put 22.3 gallons in a 21 gallon LS400 tank....

Lol i have the anxiety too. Thankfully I have a gas gauge that is apparently way ahead of me. I thought i had a 17 or 18 gallon tank until I actually went into the manual where it told me my tank was 20 gallons. In 11+ years of ownership i’ve seen it take 18+ gallons once. Filling up when the gas light comes on nets about 16.5 gallons or so.
