Yes, SEMA has security checkpoints that are new for this year. At least today I’m gonna be collecting literature for a business idea I have and won’t be lugging around my carry-on. But still, it’s an unexpected hassle.

If you can find the time and you’re hungry, you need to go to Komex Fusion. Awesome mix of Korean and Mexican food. It looks like a hole in the wall type place but their bulgogi is amazing and they have a number of great sauces to go on what you’re eating.

We should have had an Oppo meet. I was there Tue-Wed. Also, the security was so bad in the AM i walked through with them barely glancing in my duffle bag (i was leaving right after the show for the airport) and they didnt evne look in my backpack.

I think there needs to be a Jalopnik meet up at SEMA. Dunno where exactly.
And yeah, security was a mess. At least one more near the RTC bus stop.
