I always make it a point to keep walking whenever I see a Studebaker with a SBC at a car show. The Studebaker V8s aren’t that hard to come by, parts are still available, and they’re incredibly stout engines.
For half the price this might tempt me. I’d have to find an original front seat, and my dad has a couple of spare 289s laying around, so this this could be de-uglied somewhat easily.
