FIFY. Drive at own risk. Not responsible if crushed.

exactly. Looking to dump this liability on someone is one thing, charging a premium for it is another.

Seriously. Its not that special either, a RTT, some basic add ons and a fridge do not a 40k truck make.

Could it be possible that it is titled as what it is, especially if it’s been through Florida or another similarly lax state that’ll title anything?

Still, crazy illegal.

Hate to say this but even in a market where this thing is available you’d still be looking at AU$30,000 for something like this...mostly due to Toyota Tax.

Although this 2003 one is well priced at AU$26,000 with 218,000 km on the clock. And it has a bonus aftermarket passenger door!!

As for not being legal...it probably is legal for the current owner. But that status may not be transferable to a new owner? Because American law is weird? Still it can’t hurt to find out for sure rather than make grand sweeping statements on the Internet.

no loophole if owned outside the USA continuously for a certain period of time perhaps?
