Usually when you see some absurd creation on craigslist, it’s got a mile-long list of “mods” as though at the end, you’re supposed to add up the number of words used to describe it and somehow the ludicrous price will now make sense. Nah, this guy has just 25 words to describe what looks like hundreds of hours and many thousands of dollars “invested” into an old S10.

Kinja'd!!!

This thing is basically peak 1995.

I have to admit, I’d at least like to drive it once. And he’s only asking about $5,000 for it!

What is, the most burnout-y thing on Craigslist, Alex. In 1993-4, my buddy had an S-10 with a 350 in it. It was his DD, which meant his project car was even scarier - a 64 Nova with a 383, no seatbelts, and seats not bolted down. Good times.

Hah, I don’t hate this. I love the color. NP

That Nova sounds sweet, other than the seats not being bolted down.

It’s amazing to think of that now, but 1984 me would have been impressed by the 383, and not even noticed the lack of seatbelts.

All of the turquoise went into this. Not a huge fan of that but this is kinda cool.

Seriously, it’s seems well done (?) and it’s all-in for the 90's.

Also the price is seriously reasonable.

“How much turquoise paint do you have?”

Um, excuse me?

“I’ll take it all.”

You are correct. If he had bothered to mention the rear tires, he would have had to admit that it needs a set. “Fronts are at 95%”

What would be amazing is if someone created this from their childhood 1:24 model.

It’s like one of my childhood hotwheels came to live, but in a good way.

i modded a few 1:24 in my time, and also cut the top of a pickup and made it a convertible too. Just forget what truck it was. I would sometimes build 2-3 models per week.

some of them ended up being BB gun targets, some Firecrackers involved too.

I had 4 4 foot selves on my wall and only model cars were on them
