Because if the other traffic is going 90, damned if I’ll be doing less. Places to be and lots of bear bait.
...never expected that speed out of this particular highway. Was pleasantly surprised. And even at that speed I actually felt like I was holding people up sometimes.

¯\_()_/¯ K. I used to drive a lot faster than I do so I can’t say I haven’t, just seems needlessly fast. Our speed limits are 80 here in Utah and I’ve never felt a need to do better than that.

Our limits are 60mph. Utterly ridiculous. 80 would be fine in most places... but really this highway should have a higher limit. It carries a huge volume and isn’t super wide in many places. Logically speaking it should fly most of the time to make up for lack of width. That happened today, sadly most of the time it just locks up instead.
