oh yeah, I bet having to do 3 laps changes a lot! what brakes do you use?
Does your club just do this at the end of the year when attendance is down low enough to support it?

Stock brakes, but I was impressed because my GT has the 6 piston brembos on the front while my ecoboost had whatever 2 piston base brakes that got really hot and faded during endurocross last year.
We do it at the end of the year, yes, and limit it to SCCA members only with 30 spots available. We had 24, and split it into 6 heats. Started cars running around 9:45 AM, finished up by 3 PM with a solid lunch break in the middle.

Ford definitely spec’d some serious brakes on their performance cars, tracked with my buddy in his gt350 who was still on stock pads and he did OK while still going very fast. They got to stinking pretty good, but didn’t give up.
