I feel you. Atlanta and Houston have very similar sport histories. You are either the underdog, or you are a heavy favorite and the team gets demolished. Either way you end up losing badly.
Braves - only managed one WS win having 3 of the best starting pitchers of the era.
Astros - make it to a WS with 3 of the top 6, in WAR, starting pitchers that season and get swept in the WS by the White Sox. Yeah that happened.
Falcons - We all saw what happened. Hey Michael Vick did beat GB in Lambeau that one time.
Oilers - Let the Bills comeback on them, and no one really gave a shit when they moved to Tennessee.
Texans - The one year they were supposed to be really good, they decided to wear letterman’s jackets and get obliterated in every facet by the Patriots.
Hawks - They managed to never make it out of the semi-finals all the years they had Dominique Wilkins.
Rockets - Thank god Jordan was forced to go play baseball, or the Rockets would be very depressing.
