I’m biased since the C4 vette was my first favorite car as a kid. But now days I see it as they’re hilariously fast for what you pay. Especially if you get used since they depreciate like rocks.
I’ve heard it said that they “keep Ferrari honest.” Sure they’re, usually, not as fast. But at 1/4-1/2 the price, they don’t need to be, and they’re often dang close to full “supercar” performance.
But if maximum stock performance for your dollar isn’t your buying criteria, then yeah they tend to quickly be beat out.
