An update to my last post - the wheel has been clear coated and the logo applied. Not bad, if I do say so myself. XC90 rims on a focus ST - recommended. Just make sure to paint them black first.

Are those for snow tires? They’re too narrow for regular use

Always forget the Focus is one of the few non Volvos to run 5x108!

Yup! They’re for mounting 225 width snow tires. Stock is a 245 width summer tire.

Man I wish you would have used tape. That over spray is hitting all my OCD.

I did! It still got everywhere. The yellow was not a duplicolor can and the nozzle shot like a damn fire hose. I cleaned it up with some polish afterwards.

I’m still a huge fan of the overall look. I;m still looking at a WRX but they have the 5x2 spokes that this look wouldn’t work on.

What bolt pattern is that? You might get lucky and find some other OEM wheels to dick around with.

I think mazda OEM wheels could work. They’re 5x114.3 with a 50-55mm offset.

RX8 Wheels cud look goood. The only thing is living in Tennessee, I only really need one set. But a second colored set could be the answer.

If nothing else, it’s a fun project. Restoring junky old wheels taught me a lot about how to do paint and stuff and since they’re small, it’s easy to work on. Worst case scenario, I know that there is someone on the facebook group who will want them so I can get back some of what I’ve got in on it.

My biggest thing is tires are expensive. Nice thing is I have easy and free access to a tire machine, brand new Hunter Road-force Balancer, and a Hunter Alignment machine.
