Yeah, it wouldn’t had done anything for my cat’s eye, either. She ruptured it, and it got infected. We tried to treat it with meds, but it just got worse and worse. We could have dropped $2k on removing the eye, but in the end her and I had had almost 16 years together, so we had to put her down. Ugh, now I’m sad again...
