She agreed to try a manual!
It really is ideal, since most of the manual is cheaper and we can get something newer in her budget
But now, she wants to learn before we buy. I tried looking on turo to find something. I did find a veloster, but the guy canceled on me already. The only other option was a 1LE SS camero, not the best option to learn on lol
Wishing I still had my Focus svt, oh well. Anyone have a beater in socal she could learn on??

Idk the torque might help. No need to use the gas until the clutch is fully engaged with an engine that big.

normally a jeep is easy to learn how to drive on.
with the 4.0 you can just let go of the clutch with out the gas to take off.

That might be the best car to learn on. Low down torque makes it harder to stall. The manual car that I learned on and was actually able to drive was an E64 M6. So much easier than the 99 Cabrio I originally tried on.

I have a SVT in decent shape that’s for sale... Mechanically solid, perfect interior, body has good sheetmetal but less than ideal bumpers.
