Great Color, Ordinary Car

The favorite of people who want a Corolla but also like sitting up higher in the air, the virtually-unchanged since its 2013 redesign Toyota RAV4. The color on this one is called Black Currant Metallic and it’s a multilayered paint with gold-colored flakes. This one got the beige interior.

I’m more a fan of the previous-gen RAV, visually (and the V6 model was crazy quick). Those “shelf taillights” that Toyota seems to love...I’m just not feeling it.

Otherwise, love the color combo. I’d lose the pinstripe and get some aftermarket wheels.

(I’ll be in CLT next month, but just for a couple days and I think my days are booked. But if you’re anywhere Uptown in mid-Nov around lunchtime, I still owe you a beer/coke/whatever.)

We had to accept a similar color on our Kia to get the nifty tan and brown two-tone interior. The combo works well, even though warm colors are not my usual choice on a car.

I’m a big fan of this blue, but I think it’s only available on the Hybrid.

You can also get a great two tone interior

Yeah I just looked into it and you’re right! You can even get it with the Cinnamon interior! I’ll keep that info stashed away until the wife needs a new car.
