Mr. Hurlbut decided his name needed an extra t to “finish it off” and changed it in the 19th century. He probably should have just changed it to Smith.

I live on Nutt Rd, I’m two blocks from Nutt Wood Dr, and about 3 miles from Sharts Rd. I really want to go on a spree of stealing street name signs at times.

LOL. Interestingly the only other Hurlbutt Road I can find is on some industrial estate in Warwick.

Yeah I’m actually mystified how this one isn’t stolen all the time. Especially as a lot of college rowers are in the neighborhood in the spring.
