One of the reasons I don’t watch baseball, even the WS. Commentators in general suck these days. I miss Gary Thorne and Bill Clement.

Fair enough. He’s definitely appreciated by us Orioles fans, though. He’s a gem. He and Jim Palmer make a great broadcast duo but I can’t imagine either one of them being around too much longer.

I passively watch football so he’s easier to ignore. With baseball his stupidity is so much more front and center. I never watch regular season Buck.

Very true. Also, I’m a Cub fan and I still see him as a Cardinal homer.
It’s enough to make me skip this World Series. Neither of the teams interests me much, either - not that I hate either one, but there just isn’t much that interests me at all.

He’s less annoying watching football.
That’s only because he is less inclined to constantly gush about how awesome he thinks the Yankees are.
No matter what baseball teams he is covering he can’t stop talking about his beloved Yankees. As a proud member of Red Sox Nation, it is particularly irritating. (Sometimes objects are thrown at the TV.)

Funny - I’m a Cubs fan, and I hate him because he’s a Cardinals homer.
Truth be told, he’s a front-runner.
And just to be clear, he’s annoying to listen to no matter what the sport is - baseball is just the worst.
