After deciding I need to get my fat butt out on the bike in the mornings, I discovered my nice bike light is missing. Oh, I’m sure it’s in the house somewhere, but for pete’s sake I can’t find it. I even looked under the bed and everything!

So while I would like to stash some cash for a performance clutch and stage 1 APR tune for Zippy (the GTI), I am instead buying a bike light from Amazon.

Sigh...

Have a picture of a bike with lights. It’s not me, nor my lights. But it is definitely a bike. With lights. Sort of.

Which light? I’ve got one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008TWJSGS

It’s pretty good, but I got it 4 years ago so there’s probably better stuff now.

I miss my 700 lumen bike light, as that was a glorious thing that lit the heavens. Bike lights are also quite nice, as they help cars see you.........and also night mtb trail riding is super fun with bright lights

Yea, it seems every 4-5 years they get better and cheaper.

I hate the reviews at Amazon. 100 people say it’s 5 stars and the best thing since sliced bread. 10 people say it’s the worst piece of crap ever made! Ugh.

I bought a Fillixar 600 lumen USB recharagble.

Nice! I saw some $300-$500 double LED monster lights for endurance riding that I was temped to get - but budget got the best of me and I ordered something smaller.
