Figured I’d test out the new camera mount immediately. It’ll be used to film videos next year. It’s a suction mount for the windshield (legal in Michigan, plus I put it nice and low so it didn’t obstruct my view at all)

Looks fairly stable, but I’m still seeing some movement. Is that the road jostling it around, or were you just making adjustments?

Road. I didn’t touch it at all.

Haha, yeah that figures. I’ve hit some bumps that shook my dashcam right off of the mount. I used a dab of silicone to lock it in place.

Michigan, amirite? This is actually just a simple suction cup mount for my phone. As long as it’s not ultra-shakey footage like it is when I use my hands to record (as a passenger- I know better than to even think about touching the phone while I’m driving) I can live with a few minor bumps.
