Is it wrong to think that the final generation of Eldorado is a good looking car?
I mean it’s not really timeless or an example of the pinnacle of design, but it works.
From some angles, they look badass. Especially in black.

Not wrong, perceptive.

I believe this is the best looking Caddy of the past 30 years. I wish they had continued down this path instead of that Art & Science thing they did starting in the early 2000s (think Original CTS). IMHO, that was worse than anything Chris Bangle ever did.

Not wrong at all. They’re great looking cars.

If you don’t think it is a good looking car, you are a bad person who things bad things.

I think that’s more of a personal thing. I liked Art & Science, my first car was the poster child for Art & Science.
But I agree. The final generation of Seville is a damned handsome car and the DeVille of the time looked sharp in the proper trim and colors. Desperate times called for desperate measures I suppose.

Different wheels are needed.

Most of it looks good. I just wish that trunk wasn’t so much higher than the rest of the car. It looks a little wonky in my opinion.

Actually I think if you delete that body line in the middle, you’ll find the trunk is mostly parallel to the front.

Nope, they absolutely do look badass. I love my purple Eldo, despite its ‘quirks’
Mine has a spoiler but the more I think about it, the more I think I’ma take it off.

I’d love to see those DTS blades on an Eldo. I’m thinking about finding a set for mine but not sure how it’d look

It’s a solid 2 inches higher. Maybe if the windows weren’t below both the hood and the trunk it would look better

They are absolutely great looking cars. Which is good, because you’ll be looking at them a lot more than driving them, the way most Northstars go...

That C-pillar still bothers me. Not in an aesthetic sense; I just don’t think I’d want to drive it.

It indeed a very handsome and cohesive design, especially from the rear. Give the choice though I’d go with either gens of Seville that were made alongside it.

Not wrong. They were very nice looking cars for their era and still look decent today (something GM is not very good at, as a rule).

They were decent-looking cars for the time, but putting a V8 sideways and making it FWD has got to be one of the dumbest things GM has ever done. And they’ve done a lot of dumb things (and yet I still own a Corvette).
