I’d never seen a watershed management emergency response vehicle before. I was kinda wondering what kind of emergency would bring them out. In the case of our bridge, these guys were standing at the edge of the ditch with their hands in their pockets just like the ordinary city employees.

Oh, and it looks like they’ve run into problems with the bridge replacement; so, our street will be cut off for pretty much a year, they say.

They probably saw a bear sh*tting in the woods near a creek and had to euthanize it to keep the Water Hippy Faction happy. But the Wildlife Hippy Faction is going to be pissed. #harambear

I’m trying to figure out how to write that into a pilot episode, but I’m struggling a bit.

That sounds like an episode of Parks and Rec.

How about the Water Hippies agree to lend the Wildlife Hippies their butler? Just an idea I’ve been kicking around for 20 years. Never been done!

Could work. I’m thinking Willem DeFoe as the chief hippie and Martin Short as the butler.
