LOL. I’ve been in meetings all day, and just went to BaT to get an update on this one.
Seems to me now that the entire thing was fake all along. BaT can be a great source to learn about these cars, the commentariat there kind of picked it apart.

Seller claimed to have an all original ‘Cuda bought off a friend and kept within the same neighborhood since new.
More and more inconsistencies popped up with each passing hour and there was a shocking lack of details to justify the 6-figure selling price the seller thought it was worth. Instead of clearing the air, all we got were “I’M AN OLD MAN!” and long rambling tales that ended with the seller pointing to the insurance/etc appraisal as the “highest in the world”.

It is terrible. Even worse is that there’s no notifications whatsoever as far as I can tell. When I comment, people may give it a thumbs up, flag it, or reply to me, but I’ll never know unless I scroll through.
Makes Kinja look pretty good in comparison- which is scary.
