When I get a notification and click on it to see it, it’ll load the appropriate article just as it should, but it won’t automatically jump to the comment. I have to scroll until I find it.
This has been going on for a while now, but I was procrastinating about making sure I had my passwords in order before clearing my cache and browsing data.
And now I’ve done just that, and I’m still having this issue. Seems to only be happening on Chrome.
Anyone else or is it just me?

No, everything is just fine. Things are working exactly as they should. There is no cause for alarm.

I had forgotten that is was actually supposed to take you to the comment.
I miss being able to tell what comment a notification was for without having to click on it.

Notifications taking you directly to the comment has been broken for me for a couple weeks.
Help desk is working on it, though. Mobile no longer gives the little blue notification icon, so you have no clue that you’ve got a comment that you may or may not be able to find. They’re working on desktop implementation currently.

this is a normal kinja function. now not only must you click 20000 times to see 5 more comments we now have to scroll and scroll scroll.

Been broken for some time. I’m thinking it could be because of their new CDN dropping the tag part of the link. That’s what make a page scroll jump on its own.

Same here. Also, sometimes, if it’s a thread where I’ve left multiple comments, it won’t even highlight which one just got recommended.

It hasn’t jumped down to the corresponding comment for weeks. You have to scroll through and then the corresponding comment is there.
