I’ve been there, I was out there during a crazy rain. Well it was raining at Uluru and we walked all the way around barefoot in the rain, water was pretty deep but there were waterfalls all over and it looked purple. We also got to see the Olgas with nobody there since the roads were washed out and nothing but cruiser types could get through. The ranger said almost nobody sees it like that, it was pretty cool.
