Thats the nice thing about utah, its dry even in the winter, but yeah...we salt the living crap out of the roads here. My cruiser was rust free when I bought it. sigh.

This truck was not in UT.
And yes, everything that can rust will rust away with great haste in UT, particularly northern UT. They put down so much salt that they more than make up for the dryness the rest of the year. It’s so bad that everything that isn’t constantly cleaned is a dusty grey color all the time, including the roads, cars, buildings, etc.

I once lived there and my parents (and siblings) still live there. It’s a beautiful place with great outdoor sport opportunities, especially readily-accessible ski resorts, but everything else about it sucks - people, culture, environment (cold -or- hot, dry, and salty), etc.
