That’s the only explanation we can come up with. Twice in two years, the most careful driver the world has ever known has had her new van rammed. Both times by 16 year old drivers. This time happened yesterday in our neighborhood while she was stopped on the curb.

Is the offending driver identified?

Thanks. Yeah, she’s fine. She was at the curb picking up my daughter from one of the neighbors when another neighbor kid hit her while leaving the neighborhood. He must have hit the accelerator pretty hard to do this. He took out his own radiator, too.

Yeah, he’s a kid that’s lived on our street since he was a baby. Just got his license a little while ago. He’s already run into both of his parents’ cars in his short career, and now he can add my wife’s. His dad was displeased, to say the least.

me mums cursed too... and banned from one dealership as she wrote off their loaner cars...... first a merc reversed into her and caved in the hatch... so she brought it back to dealer splained herself to them and took home another loaner... one day later a deer suicided itself on the new loaners passenger side

after that the dealership turned pretty hostile to her

I don’t know what it is, but drivers like that have little hope of ever improving it seems. I’ve had my share of goofs, but I didn’t hit 3 cars in one year.

Your wife is not cursed. But it appears her van has a crush on vehicles driven by young lads...

If he was my kid, I’d collect his license and suspend driving until 18, and take a look at it then. It would be for his safety as much as anyone else’s. If something happens at speed, and it will eventually, he could be really hurt.

You may be right. But if that’s so, then it switch hits because the previous one was a gal.

Oh wow. That’s the worst luck I’ve heard from someone not named Patrick George.

So, should I change her name from Trixie to Mrs. Robinson?

As long as you are referring to the Sedona...yes.

Yes, I think we should make that explicitly clear. :)

“He’s already run into both his parents’ cars...” Reminds me of a friend of mine when she started driving.

Her: Dad, I hit the BMW.

Dad: But you were supposed to take the Peugeot.

Her: I DID take the Peugeot.

We all know the “most careful” i.e. most fearful cause accidents

She’s not careful in a hesitant way. She’s careful in a be very attentive and act deliberately way.
