I went and looked at a mk3 the other day, not getting one now as the steering wheel is too close to my legs :( so looking at mk2s now

It is tight indeed. I’m kinda manspreading in mine to get around the steering wheel, but I don’t really mind, as that puts my right foot in the perfect angle for heel-toeing. It took some time getting used to it though.
You can probably find quite some JDM Mk2s in the UK? If so, try and get a turbo, so all of Oppo can live vicariously through you, right up until you end up backwards through a hedge.

the turbo’s are out of my budget by a couple grand currently. Looking at a cheap rev2 with possible future plans for a v6
