painting the steelies gold is a great idea if your car is blue. If you have a white car, paint them white :o)
How cold is it by you? Remember that winter tires wear extremely quickly when driven on warm.

It’s around 6c in the morning & warms up in the morning nice. I much rather run on winters in the warm, then be caught in an early winter storm with my all seasons.

6c in the morning is still fairly warm, especially as it warms up throughout the day! When do you usually get your first snowfall?

I’m waiting mid November, at 300+ a tire I wait till we no longer have warmish days.
