I was able to get the oil and fuel filters on my truck changed relatively smoothly, with the exception of a bit of diesel fuel running down my arm, to the shoulder. I’ve since taken 2 showers, but despite that still smell like a walking truck stop.
Thus far I’ve tried shampoo, body wash, and dish soap. My arm still stinks. What other options are there? Tomato juice? Lay out in the sun and get sunburned, then wait for the smelly skin to peel off? Belt sander?

Belt sander may be effective but I don’t recommend it.
Most oils tend to soak into the skin and take forever to get out if not addressed immediately. Fortunately they’re only a little toxic. Detergents (dish or laundry) mixed with abrasives seem to work well enough, like the pumice in Gojo. The abrasive could be replaced with a stiff brush, or similar... Dish scrubby maybe?
On the other hand, diesel is more pleasant of a smell than the natural ones produced by armpits...

Try GoJo cleaner with a citrus smell. It usually takes a couple of cleaning , sometimes still has a little odor but does a fair job of making it tolerable.

baking soda and water, mix to a paste and scrub. Or Gojo as long as you don’t mind the smell of citrus

As a trucker, it’s impossible. You just get used to it. I literally fuel my truck daily and you step on the overspill from lazy truckers, it splashes on me, you literally just get used to it. I’ve tried everything. It doesn’t go away lol

The citrus cleaner of your choice might mask it some for awhile. Otherwise it’ll come out over a couple of days. The first time I changed fuel filters on my first diesel truck was an educational experience in smelling bad for half a week.

don’t laugh.. but I accidentally discovered that cheap foaming antibacterial soap from Target works surprisingly well. A couple years ago I was lazy and pumped a dollop of that stuff on my hands after working on one of the cars and voila. Who knows what is in that stuff...

I’ve actually washed my hands in soap/water so hot that it felt cold, just quick enough to get the job done, not cook myself lol. Straight out of the tap at full hot, mine is 135F. Actually seems to work if you do it soon after, probably too late now.
