Kinja'd!!!

Got a set of 14" steel wheels off a 1965 Impala for $50 and bought a set of Kumhos to wrap around them. The Impala wheels push the track way out and make it look a lot more aggressive. Me likey. Three of the wheels are silver and one is red. Next big task will be getting the carb to be happy. During the month of October I have been/will be gone a total of 19 days on work trips and vacations so progress has been slow simply because I’m not around. Hopefully my travel will slow down in November and I can make more time to work on it.

What tire size have you got on the front?

Your speedometer will read a bit slow - it’s driven off the DS front wheel. It won’t be huge, but it will be there.

But the handling with the wider rears will be worth it. I used to have 195/70R14 up front and 205s on the rear.

Stock for 1966 was a 7.00*13 tire, which equates to about a 185/80R13. Imagine an 80 sidewall.
