The chrome only makes it worse.

Where do you live that this is the end of riding season?

I’ve been riding my bike since Wednesday. Warm clothes for the ride then change at work.

Someone blasted past me on their Harley on the way in to work this morning. It was 45 degrees Frankenstein.

If you can keep the wind out, it’s surprisingly easy to keep warm on one. That v-twin between their legs doesn’t make a lot of power but it makes a ton of heat.

I’ve been riding everyday, regardless of weather. Coldest morning so far was 35.

Sometimes, you just gotta.

Where do you live? I’m currently dealing with the massive temperature swings of “fall/spring” in Utah. 25-35 in the morning. 60-70 in the afternoon.

St Louis. It’s still around 80 for a few days, but I can see the cooling trend on the horizon. Having only ridden motorcycles whilst living in SoCal, I don’t know how cold riders out here are willing to put up with...

80?? My god.

It’s like this, in my opinion. You can ride when it’s cold or you can somehow try to justify owning a bike that’s only useful 50% of the year. Not riding for long periods also greatly increases your chances of an accident once you start again.

When a Seca II was my only transport I did have to ride it all year regardless of the temp outside. But that was in California, so it’s not like I actually had to worry about rain or anything like that, let alone snow...
