You may remember my post a few weeks back about my rusty exhaust shearing in TWAIN on the highway. That was fun. Well, since that was the last OE exhaust for the Supercharged MR2's back when I bought it, and no aftermarket options exist for anything resembling a reasonable price, I had to go the DIY route.
I used a 180* bend, a 90* bend, and a Walker 21475 muffler off Summit (all 2.5"), and some steel rod bent to shape for the hangers. It’s not the greatest sounding thing in the world, but hey it works better than an open pipe after the cat. It sounds....ok. Idle and cruising sounds fairly stock, on throttle is nice and deep, but over like 5500rpm it gets a little brappy.
