Tethering came in pretty handy in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. I wouldn’t have been able to work over a period of days otherwise.

Internet is down at our district too. We have parent teacher conferences tonight. Our grade book is online. I could care less, but some of my coworkers are losing their damn minds.

Actually, our entire network is down, at least at our site.

Even worse. Our network is up at least.

And zero communication from I.T. about what’s up. Or not up. They are SO lame... And they hate me because they know that I know how lame they are better than almost anyone in the district. But after the drama and trauma of last year, I don’t make any more waves. I just go love me some kids and some math and the love me back and it’s a beautiful think and once or twice a week I spend an hour tinkering with Rusty.

That is frustrating. Our IT department is hit or miss, but their communication about stuff like this is pretty good. Sounds to me like your priorities are well in order.
